| 中文描述 | A型流行性感冒病毒(正黏液病毒)會造成野生和馴養的鳥類的傳染性疾病.此病毒有許多種抗原型.家禽流行性感冒的一般症狀為呼吸問題'下瀝'產蛋率下降'死亡率提高.損傷包括氣囊炎'肺充血'輕微氣管炎'以及畸形卵的產生.AI(AVIAN INFLUENZA)會造成氣囊炎'有乾酪樣滲出物的竇炎'以及小雞的窒息.發病率可能很低,但死亡率高達100%.診斷是藉由病史詢問,損傷,氣管'泄殖腔刮落組織的病毒培養,血清學的病毒中和試驗,CF(cystic fibrosis)囊性纖維變性,HI.此為人畜共通病,但人的病例很少見. |

| 英文描述 | An infectious disease caused by type A influenza virus (ORTHOMYXOVIRUS) affects wild and domestic birds. Viruses of several antigenic types have been recovered. Common signs of avian influenza are respiratory problems, diarrhea, severe drop in egg production, and increased mortality. Lesions include air sacculitis, lung congestion, mild tracheitis, and misshapen ova. AI can cause air sacculitis and sinusitis with cheesy exudates and suffocation in young chicks. Morbidity rate may be low but mortality rate may approach 100%. Diagnosis is by history, lesions, virus isolation by swabbing trachea and cloaca, and serology using virus neutralization, CF, and HI. This is a zoonosis, but human cases are rare. |
